About Me
The short version...
I am an XSI generalist with 14 years experience in creating 3D for commercials, long-form documentaries and all other aspects of broadcast television.
The long version...
Having completed two years of a four year BA in Creative Visualization at the University of Teesside, I found a placement for my third year at Skaramoosh in London as part of a company of six people.
During this time I gained experience in all aspects of broadcast graphics, working on many Idents, Titles and VFX for long-form Documentary work.
On completion of my placement I was offered the oppurtunity to stay at the company and stayed for a further 3 years during which time we began Beta-testing and eventually switching to Softimage XSI. During this period the company grew to around twenty plus people.
Having spent four great years at Skaramoosh I moved to Imaj in Istanbul, where after a year I became Head of 3D leading a department of up to six 3D artists.
After five years at Imaj I returned to the UK where I worked as a freelance XSI generalist at a number of companies in and around Soho.
In early 2009 I became a full-time Senior 3D artist at Glassworks where I spent just over one and a half years working on numerous projects working as a generalist and TD.
I am currently available for freelance work.
